El GAM-M es un relé (relevador) monofásico diseñado especialmente para arrancar y proteger motores eléctricos, contra los daños ocasionados por fallas comunes de corriente y voltaje.

Este equipo realiza las funciones de:

TÉRMICO
PROTECTOR DE VOLTAJE
El GAM-M protege contra fluctuaciones extremas de voltaje (alto y bajo), sobrecarga y fallas de rotor bloqueado. Ante fallas de corriente o fallas de voltaje, el GAM-M desactivará su salida hasta que la falla desaparezca y el motor se haya enfriado completamente. Los Temporizadores a la Conexión y a la Desconexión por Falla están incorporados a este relé (relevador) para prevenir desconexiones innecesarias debido a las rápidas fluctuaciones del sistema.

El GAM-M es capaz de apagar el motor al detectar sobrecarga. Y en caso de presentarse tres fallas sucesivas de corriente en menos de 16 minutos (tercera falla) el GAM-M apagará el motor, siendo necesario que un usuario o técnico verifique el motivo de la falla e intervenga para rearmar el equipo.

El GAM-M ha sido desarrollado usando la más avanzada tecnología, diseñado de acuerdo a las normas para protección IEEE, IEC y NEMA; verificado en conformidad con las normas de compatibilidad electromagnética IEC, por lo que trabaja de manera segura en ambientes con las más severas condiciones eléctricas.
